We have been advised that as of early next year Macquarie Bank will no longer be accepting cash payments via DEFT at Australia Post outlets.
This change will be made no earlier than March 2022. You will still be able to pay in person at an Australia Post outlet, but you will need to do so using EFTPOS or cheque. To ease this transition, Macquarie Bank have removed the $2.75 payer fee, so these transactions will be fee-free.
Alternatively, you can use DEFT Online or DEFT Phonepay to pay your rent.
